Writing about yourself can sometimes feel challenging.  Here are some great ways to get going on your bio or about page. (Please don’t be thrown by the casual titles – there’s some great ideas here!)

We often use page tables as a way to help create and organize the content for your site.  Here’s our format:

  • From WordPress.com, information on Writing and Editing within WordPress
    • Pages vs. Posts – on our sites, we typically use “Pages” for your web content, and “Posts” if you have a “news” or “blog” feature
    • Edit Pages – your site should already have some page content.  Feel free to edit the text as you’d like!
  • How to insert an image into a page/post (via WordPress.org)
  • Video Tutorials
    • Editing Pages in WordPress 3 (note that some of the menus look slightly different in the current version of WordPress, but this is a good overview nonetheless)
